DOWNLOAD YOUR ONLINE  E-AADHAAR CARD 

Here are some easy steps to get your aadhar card online


Did you get your Aadhaar Card Yet?


No, Don’t worry. Don’t wait for your aadhaar card through post. Down load your e-aadhaar letter from internet in very easy simple steps if your aadhaar card is already generated.

For that you need aadhaar acknowledgement slip, a computer with internet facility and a printer.

Let us see the simple steps for downloading. First of all check your aadhaar status.


1.     Open the internet browser and log on to 

https://portal.uidai.gov.in/ResidentPortal/statusLink

(Right Click on the link and Select " Open Link in New Tab" to open in New Window)





2.  To check your aadhaar status, enter the enrolment number with date, time as per the acknowledgement copy.  Then type the image as in the box and click on Submit.  


Now your aadhaar card is under generation. Kindly wait for some days to generate.

Instead of that if you get the following window, you can proceed. 


 You are lucky, your aadhaar card is generated!
Please do the following to download.

1.     Log on to https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/eDetails.aspx

(Right Click on the link and Select " Open Link in New Tab" to open in New Window)


Now you get the following window.


  2.    Again type your Enrolment No. and date.

  3. Type your name same as in the acknowledgement card against Resident Name.

  4.  Enter your Pin code

  5.   Enter the text image as you get.

  6.  Then click the Submit  Button

Next window comes.


7. Click ‘Yes’ if your Phone Number is Correct. Otherwise click on ‘No’ and give your Phone Number.

    8.   Now you get  an OTP (One Time Password) as SMS in the given mobile phone number. This secret password is valid for 5 minutes only. So enter the number in the OTP box immediately.



   9.      Click on the Submit  button.

  10.  Now you get the window to Download your e-Aadhaar letter. 


  11.  Click on Download Your e-Aadhaar button.

  12. Downloading Started. You will get it as a password protected PDF file. To unlock this file, use your pin code as Password.

  13. Take the Printout.
   14.  The print out is Digitally Signed. If You see a Validity Unknown with a ? symbol you have to make some adjustments on your computer to correct it.

15. Right click on the “validity unknown” icon and then click on “Validate 

Signature”


16. You will now see a signature validation status window, click on “Signature Properties”



  17.  Under the Signature Properties, click on Show Certificate”

18. Now you get the following window.







19. Then click on Trust  Tab. Now you can see the window.



20. Click on “Add to trusted identities”



   21. Then click OK to get the following window.


22. See the New window.




23. Click on “Validate Signature'” to execute the validation

24. Now you get the e-aadhaar  letter with a Valid Signature.



Any subsequent documents with digital signatures from UIDAI will be validated automatically when opened.
