The Bajaj Auto launched their much awaited new car named RE 60 on 3rd Jan. They developed this car in alliance with the Renault-Nissan . RE-60 car is positioned to replace the the 3 wheelers with a 4 wheel passenger car.
Bajaj said that the new car has fitted
with a single cylinder, 200cc, water cooled petrol engine, would deliver 35 kms
per litre and have a top speed of 70km/hr. The company mainly aiming the
rickshaw drivers and not the middle class buyers.
The price is expected near1.80 Lakhs.
Actually Bajaj developed this car as a reply to Tata Nano, but it is nowhere
near the Tata Nano as a full sized car.
The country expected more from Bajaj.The company planning to manufacture 200
units per day at Aurangabad. The firm also plans the CNG and LPG variants soon.
